1. Information We Collect
Account Information
We may collect:
- Name (if provided)
- Email address
- Authentication identifiers
- Subscription status
Payment Information
All payments are securely processed by Lemon Squeezy (Merchant of Record). We do not collect or store:
- Credit/debit card numbers
- CVV codes
- Full billing details
We may receive limited billing-related information such as:
- Payment status
- Subscription plan details
- Transaction IDs / order references
Usage & Technical Data
We may collect technical and usage data such as:
- File size and usage limits
- AI-assisted usage count
- IP address (for security and abuse prevention)
- Browser and device information
Contact & Support
When you contact us through our contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide. Your message is delivered to our support inbox through a third-party form-delivery service (FormSubmit), which processes this information solely to route your message to us.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Operate and maintain the service
- Manage subscriptions and usage limits
- Provide AI-based features and automation
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
- Improve platform performance and reliability

3. AI Usage & Content Processing
ThreadPack uses AI-based automation for:
- Design and tech pack generation
- Data structuring and formatting
For image generation, you choose which AI engine processes each task:
- Google Gemini (cloud) — the content you submit for that task (such as descriptions, measurements, style details and any images you upload) is sent to Google's Gemini API to produce the result, under Google's applicable terms.
- ThreadPack Server (private) — the content is sent over an encrypted connection (Cloudflare Tunnel) to a server operated by ThreadPack and processed there by an open-source model (Qwen Image Edit, Apache-2.0). It is not sent to Google or any other AI provider for that task. The result is copied to your ThreadPack storage, and the temporary copies on that server are deleted automatically within 24 hours.
ThreadPack Server is available only while it is online; otherwise Gemini is offered. We never switch engines without your selection.
All other AI features (such as AI chat and the AI Spec Writer) are powered by Google's Gemini API. The content you submit for those tasks is sent to Google to generate the requested output, under Google's applicable terms.
Important notes:
- Uploaded content is used only to provide the requested processing and outputs
- User content is not used for AI training
- Files are deleted automatically based on retention rules
- AI output may be generated without human review
4. File Storage & Retention
Files are stored temporarily based on your plan:
- Free users: automatic cleanup after 30 days
- Paid users: retention based on the active subscription plan
Expired files may be permanently deleted.
Temporary files on ThreadPack Server (the inputs you send and the images it generates) are deleted automatically within 24 hours; the copy you keep lives in your ThreadPack storage.
5. Cookies
We use:
- Essential cookies & local storage — to keep you signed in and to secure the service. These are required for ThreadPack to function.
- Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics (e.g.
_ga, _gid) to measure aggregate, non-personal usage so we can improve the product.
We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell cookie data. Depending on your region, you may be asked to consent to analytics cookies.
6. Data Security
We apply reasonable security measures, including:
- Secure servers
- Access control
- Rate limiting and abuse detection
However, no online service is 100% secure.
7. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to operate our platform, such as:
- Authentication, database & file storage — Google Firebase
- Payment processor / Merchant of Record — Lemon Squeezy
- Hosting — Google Cloud (Firebase App Hosting)
- Analytics — Google Analytics
- AI processing — Google Gemini
- Network tunnel to our Local image engine — Cloudflare (carries the encrypted traffic between threadpack.com and our image-generation server; sees traffic metadata only)
- Contact form delivery — FormSubmit
- Transactional email — Hostinger (SMTP)
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and applicable legal obligations.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Request access to your personal data
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Request account deletion
- Cancel your subscription
